Model United Nations is an academic simulation where students learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations. Participants role-play as delegates from different countries and work to find solutions to real world problems.

KUMUN is open to all university and high school students. We welcome beginners and experienced delegates alike. No prior MUN experience is required.

You can register through our online registration form. Click on the "Register Now" button and fill out all required information. Registration includes committee preference and payment details.

Registration fees vary by participant type. Please check the registration page for current pricing. Early bird discounts may be available for early registrations.

The dress code for KUMUN is Western Business Attire. This includes suits, blazers, and formal footwear. Delegates are expected to dress professionally throughout the conference.

Research your assigned country's foreign policy, study the committee topics, practice parliamentary procedure, and prepare opening speeches. Background guides will be provided to help with preparation.

No problem! KUMUN welcomes beginners. We provide comprehensive training workshops before the conference, and experienced delegates and chairs are always willing to help newcomers.

Yes, lunch is provided on all conference days, along with morning and afternoon refreshments. Special dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice.

Limited on-campus accommodation is available for delegates from outside Kathmandu Valley. Various hotels and guesthouses are also available in Dhulikhel town. Contact kumun@ku.edu.np for assistance.
